Police Recruitment Up: Selected 60,244 for Constable Post

 

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the selection of 1,444 candidates for the police constable post under direct recruitment -123. The results were published on the UPPPPB website on Thursday.The recruitment exam held on February 17 and 18 last year was canceled due to paper leakage. During the general election, the incident became a political issue and when the state government was re -organized in August, he urged the examination centers to take strict security measures.

The recruitment drive has applied 48,17,4441 to 60,244 posts.

According to an official statement, a total of 12,937 selected candidates were in the general category; 32,052 from other backward classes; 14,026 from Scheduled Castes and 1,229 from Scheduled Tribes. Out of the recruitment, there were 12,048 women.


Successful candidates will soon start their training for this role, the statement said. Mukesh Kumar from Rampur selected expressed his happiness. “I am sincerely thankful to the government for my family and for this Holi for this Holi.” In the family of the daily wedge, Mukesh had spent four to five years in preparation for the exam while working. He dedicated his success to his parents, teachers and friends. Abhishek Mishra, another selected candidate in Shravasti, thanked the government for announcing the results in front of Holi. “We are eagerly waiting for the merit list and I thank the UP government for the announcement of the festival before.” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated 60,244 recruits on Thursday and praised his hard work, intelligence and persistence.

“I appreciate the dedication of successful candidates and attribute their duties to the blessings of their talents, perseverance and their teachers and parents,” he posted on X.
